In a repeat of the top step of the podium at the opening round of the Maxxis British Motocross Championsip, both Arnaud Tonus and Shaun Simpson once again stood on the top step of the podium in MX2 and MX1 respectivly at the second round of the series which took place at Canada Heights in Kent over the weekend.
Both riders scored two wins and a second position to extend their lead in the series as Steve Dixon's Bike It Cosworth Wild Wolf Yamaha team locked out the results with wins in both qualifying sessions and the three MX2 races!
Dixon's Swiss rider, Arnaud Tonus opened the score with wins in the first two motos but his second rider Zac Osborne hit back in the third to climb into second place in the series after his unfortunate DNF at round one. Belgian Wildcard, Joel Roelants (Nestaan JM Racing KTM) finished third overall with 5-4-3 positions.
"It was nice to win and keep the red plate, this is the best preparation I have done for the GP's and I am excited for them to start," Tonus said,"It is good racing with Zach as he is correct on the track and we did a good job for the fans. The British crowds really make you feel welcome, it is a great championship".
