Serco Yoshimura Yamaha's Kirk Gibbs broke through for his first Rockstar MX Nationals Pro Lite podium of the year at Appin last weekend taking second place after four impressive riders.

Gibbs is the quiet achiever in Australian motocross and after finishing second in last years' championship is looking to go one better and there is no better place to start than Raymond Terrace, the track that he first made a name for himself in 2008 where he won his first national round in dominating fashion.

Gibbs sits in second place after two rounds and some mid week testing to fine tune his race bike maybe just the thing to get him to the top of the podium.

Ford Dale

continues to display blistering speed and at the opening two rounds he has been as fast as anyone on the track. His speed isn't reflected in the results, he sits in eighth place, as he has crashed in some motos but the determined and talented Queenslander is keen to stay on the bike, get on the podium and get his championship hopes back on track at Raymond Terrace.

Jake Moss

is back for his second race of the year and looking for an improved showing at Raymond Terrace. Moss was fresh off the injury list at Appin and the four motos proved to be a little too much for his delicate shoulder, but more riding during the week should see Moss in better shape for the Raymond Terrace event.
